EDS Infrastrutture has applied its advanced experience in the field of transmissions to telecommunications. Following the cabling of entire cities, it has implemented Base Transceiver Stations for mobile telephony and fixed telephone networks with copper and fiber optic cables, laid in trenches and on poles, also using the microtunneling technique. Currently, EDS Infrastrutture leverages its advanced technology to serve Italian mobile telephony operators by providing the design and construction of base stations for 2G and 3G wireless installations.
